A truly exquisite antique accessory, previously worn as a watch chain and now as a necklace, this 18-carat gold trombone chain is made even more special with the addition of a fancy trombone link extender and a chunky t-bar encrusted with 4 repurposed antique old-cut diamonds (0.105cts).
This fantastic set gives you so much versatility - you can wear the chain on its own, or attached to your other extenders and bracelets, and wear the extender with your other favourite chains or as a pendant.
Each link of this remarkable watch chain is meticulously forged from 18ct solid gold and stamped with a crown and "18" (the links are all solid, not hollow). One link on the main chain also bears the stamp for Chester and the date letter, slightly faded but likely for 1892.
The chunky swivel t-bar set with sparkling old-cut diamonds finishes the piece beautifully. The diamonds are bright and lively with high tables and excellent cut and clarity, a rarity for old-cut diamonds of this size.
The chain itself is 15.15 inches, with the extender taking the overall wearable length to 16.55 inches.
