The chain incorporates beautiful fancy chain links, 2 styles of curb chain links and a section of puffy biker chain links that perfectly pair with the width and weight of one another.
This beauty is in very good condition - there is a repair to one link in the fancy chain section that appears to have been done using lead, as was common in Victorian jewellery repairs from around the 1800s onwards. This only adds to the character and history of the piece and is not noticeable - you can also choose to place the sliding terminal over the link.
The gold tone in this piece is truly beautiful - the overall appearance is yellow, enhanced by the stunning patina on the gold, with underlying areas of a rosey gold colour peeking through, as is typical of antique 9ct gold. She pairs extremely well with high carat gold, and with other gold colours and carats.
