Featuring chubby oval links and a statement diamond trombone link, the 15-carat gold chain showcases a bright, sparkling 0.25ct old-cut diamond, carefully set in an 18-carat gold handcrafted bezel. The coveted oval and trombone links are exceptionally hard to find, especially in this outstanding antique condition.
 
Crafted from early Victorian repurposed components, all solid (not hollow) links are stamped "15.625", indicating 15-carat gold, a gold purity that ceased to exist after 1932. The swivel dog clip and T-bar are also hallmarked for 15ct gold. The antique gold tone has soft apricot undertones, typical of 15-carat gold.
 
Measuring 17 inches, this chain offers adjustable wearable lengths between 15 and 16.75 inches:
15 inches: Clip the clasp into the upper section of the trombone link.
16 inches: Clip into the lowest section of the trombone link.
16.75 inches: Clip into the O-ring above the T-bar.
