This sentimental pendant is a reproduction of an antique wax seal taken from a rotating seal wheel (Victorian era).
Engraved into the face of the seal are two hearts and the words "FOR EVER". The hearts are linked by a ribbon tied in a bow. This beautiful symbolic intaglio represents eternal love.
Hearts were a common symbol of love, compassion and sincerity during the Victorian period and this remains true to this day.
This versatile pendant can still be used as a seal; the large chunky bail doubles as a 'handle' when you are pressing the coin section into your wax.
Crafted in 18-carat yellow gold and hallmarked by the prestigious London Assay Office, it bears the full traditional UK hallmarks.
