A striking French Art Nouveau collier necklace, meticulously handcrafted in 18ct gold, featuring five triangular filigree panels of uniform size, interspersed with slender filigree links and delicate fleur-de-lis drops, with the slender filigree links continuing the full way around the necklace. Retaining its original safety chain and bolt ring clasp, this piece is a rare find and in excellent condition.
Stamped with approximately four French eagle head marks on one end link and another eagle head on the bolt ring clasp, verifying its 18ct gold composition. A possible maker’s mark is present but illegible.
At 17.90 inches long, each large angular link is 16mm x 18mm. A statement piece that stands out on its own or layers seamlessly into a necklace stack. The rich yellow gold tone complements both antique and contemporary gold jewellery.
